The seminar “Establishing ECO Marqinet Youth Club “
In the framework of the project “A healthy environment starts from my home”, financed by the program SENIOR-A, Youth Center Borderless conducted a seminar “Raising Youth Eco-Clubs in Marqinet” on 6-7 June 2015. This project aims to address an actual problem which is management of urban waste in Marqinet area, part of Vora Municipality. The seminar stimulated the young people to reflect on their attitude toward the current environmental situation. As predicted in the agenda of the seminar, the first day was focused on information about environmental issues in the community. The second day, An informative session on awareness campaign was conducted, followed by group work with young people. A total of 35 participants in the seminar, divided in 5 groups, presented awareness campaigns focused on resolving environmental problems of Marqinet. The focus of the second day was the raising of the ECO CLUB in Marqinet, which will be developed further with the support of TAMAM Albania. Participants worked in 4 main groups and presented in the end concrete ideas on raising the ECO CLUB. This seminar was conducted in cooperation with TAMAM Albania.
